Smith, Maddy

Maddy Smith is passionate about education, and believes that a local is strongest when its members are informed,  encouraged, and inspired: she seeks to increase the opportunities for all members to participate in educational opportunities. Maddy has experienced the transformative power of labour education first-hand; in addition to participating in workshops and conferences on campus and across the province, for the last 2 years, Maddy has been a delegate for 951 to the CUPE BC Convention. Maddy is finishing her term as a local 951 Trustee, and considers it a privilege to be able to do more for her union.
