Special General Meeting August 1st!
NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
Tuesday Aug. 1, 12:00-1:00 – Engineering/Computer Science (ECS) 108.
Agenda: as this is a special meeting (see CUPE 951 Bylaws 4B), the only item will be the nominations and voting for 2 delegates and 1 alternate to the CUPE National Convention in Toronto Oct. 1-6, 2017.
Come for Cookies and a quick vote.
Note: If you wish to run for one of the 2 positions, the nominations are now open and will close on the floor at the meeting. Each potential delegate will be given 1 minute for speech. Those unable to attend may submit a short email or 1 minute video to presidentcupe951@uvic.ca .
Voting will be by plurality vote as stated in our by-laws under 5A(ii).
