Working From Home
As we have been receiving many questions about working from home, we would like to let our members know that there no restrictions in the CUPE 951 collective agreement to prevent working from home. As well, anyone who is directed to work from home is covered under WorkSafeBC for the tasks and activities that they are expected to perform while they are working.
We recommend that employees working from home set up their workstation following good ergonomic principles in order to minimize injury. Please find guidance on this here: https://www.uvic.ca/hr/health-wellness/ergonomics/index.php
