CUPE 951 Bargaining Update
Good Afternoon,
The CUPE 951 bargaining committee has been working hard for the past 9 months and on the evening of March 26th we reached a tentative Settlement with the University of Victoria. The bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the Memorandum of Settlement.
Over the next week we will be working with CUPE National Representatives to facilitate an online ratification vote in these unprecedented times. Our Local has never conducted an online ratification vote before but this will allow for each member to have time to review the settlement as we cannot hold an in person meeting.
Next week we will provide you with updates regarding how to participate in the online vote and will distribute the tentative Memorandum of Settlement for your review.
