Enjoy Retirement, Joan
Yesterday was Joan Peterson’s last work day with UVic and our local 951. Joan’s seniority dated back to 1973 but she had been working at UVic since 1968. Joan worked in the Metadata unit of Collection Management Services, UVic Libraries, where she spent many year contributing to the cataloguing of significant works stored in the Special Collections and University Archives units.
On the main floor of the Mearns Centre – McPherson Library there is a display case showing some of what she worked on over the years. All of us at local 951 would like to wish Joan a very happy and well deserved retirement.
