Contract Ratification This Week
Contract Ratification Meeting -Wednesday, October 14 – 12:00 to 12:30 or 1:00 to 1:30
Location: Cinecenta, Student Union Building
All members are encouraged to attend one of the two contract ratification meetings on Wednesday. There will be a brief presentation walking members through the Articles where we have achieved improvements and then time for questions from the floor. There are 300 seats at each session so should be room for everyone! Voting will follow presentation.
Contract Ratification Vote -Wednesday, October 14 – 12:30-1:00 or 1:30-2:00 (After meeting)
Location: Cinecenta, Student Union Building
Members can vote after the meeting (polls close at 2:00pm) or come over to the Union office the following day, Thursday Oct. 15th (polls close at 2:00pm).

Vote Only on Thursday, October 15 – 10:00 to 2:00 Location: TEF 221, Union Office
Members can vote in the Union office. A member from the Bargaining committee will be available to answer questions.
Ballots will be counted after the polls close on Thursday, October 15th at 2:00pm and results will be posted to our listserv, Facebook page and Twitter account.
We will be taking a roving ballot box to our members at Child Care Services who are required to remain onsite to maintain ratio. All other members should be able to get to the University Student Union Building or TEF Building. If you have a good reason why you can’t please email Kara at kmwhite@uvic.ca
