Yesterday was Joan Peterson’s last work day with UVic and our local 951.  Joan’s seniority dated back to 1973 but she had been working at UVic since 1968.  Joan worked in the Metadata unit of Collection Management Services, UVic Libraries, where she spent many year contributing to the cataloguing of significant works stored in the Special Collections and University Archives…

Our next General Meeting is on October 23, 2019 Scheduled from 11:45am to 1:15pm in the Upper Lounge of the Student Union Building (SUB).  In addition to the regular business, this meeting will have an important vote on the By-Law amendments. We look forward to seeing you there.
